Saved views: the small feature that quietly saves hours every week

The feature nobody talks about
Saved views aren't flashy. They don't show up in feature comparison charts. But ask any power user what they'd miss most and they'll tell you: saved views.
A saved view is a filter combination you can switch to with one click. "My tasks, due this week, high priority." Click. Done.
Setting one up
- Open a board.
- Apply some filters — assignee, label, priority, due window.
- Click 'Save view'.
- Give it a name.
- It now lives in the saved views menu, one click away.
That's it. Each teammate has their own saved views per board.
The four saved views every team should have
1. "My week"
Assignee = me, due = this week, sorted by date.
This is your Monday-morning view. Everything you personally need to do this week.
2. "Overdue across the board"
Assignee = anyone, due = overdue.
Friday afternoon view. Sweep up everything that slipped and either close, reassign, or reschedule.
3. "Waiting on client"
Label = client-blocker (or whatever you use).
The view your account lead opens before every client call. Drives every chase-up conversation.
4. "This sprint, in progress"
Sprint = current, status = In progress.
Standup view. Open it, run the meeting, close it.
Combine with workspaces
If you bookmark saved-view URLs, you can build your own personal dashboard. Tab 1 = My week. Tab 2 = Overdue. Tab 3 = Waiting on client. Open in the morning, work down the stack.
Why this matters
Most productivity wins aren't from new features — they're from removing friction on existing ones. Saved views remove the daily friction of building the same filter combinations over and over.
Do the math: 30 seconds of filtering, 8 times a day, 5 days a week = 20 minutes back. Multiplied across a team of 10 — that's 3+ hours a week of reclaimed focus.
Not bad for a feature most people overlook.
