Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using ProTasks, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms, in which case "you" and "your" shall refer to such entity.
You must be at least 16 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
2. Definitions
"Service"
The ProTasks platform, website, applications, APIs, and any related services that allow teams to plan, track, and collaborate on work.
"User Content"
Tasks, boards, comments, attachments, documents, and any other data you create, upload, or store within the Service.
"Workspace"
A shared environment within the Service where you and your invited team members collaborate on boards and tasks.
"Subscription"
A paid plan (such as Pro or Business) granting access to premium features, billed monthly or annually.
3. Services
ProTasks is a project and task management platform that provides boards, calendars, timelines, time tracking, automations, AI-powered tools, client sharing, invoicing, and related collaboration features. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time.
4. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must sign in using a supported authentication provider. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent
6. User Content & Ownership
You retain ownership of all User Content you submit to the Service. By submitting User Content, you grant ProTasks a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, and display such content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
Content you create on shared boards or workspaces will be visible to the people you have shared it with, including public client links you choose to enable.
7. Payments & Fees
Paid Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via our payment processor, Stripe. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with notice.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
- You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law
- You are responsible for any applicable taxes
8. Third-Party Integrations
The Service may integrate with third-party services such as Google Calendar and Slack. Your use of these integrations is subject to the third party's terms and privacy policies. ProTasks is not responsible for third-party services, and you may disconnect integrations at any time.
9. Term & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProTasks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ProTasks and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. General Provisions
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and ProTasks regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.
